Researchers at UTSW Identify New Vulnerabilities in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancers

Despite non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC) being one of the most common cancers, current treatment strategies are limited and survival rates are extremely low. CTD2 investigators at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center used a systematic cell-based approach to uncover three novel subtype-selective vulnerabilities in NSCLC, which may be therapeutically targeted. The results are published in Cell.
